I am new customer, how do I
place my order?
Begin by registering as a new customer! Then search
for a book you would like to buy using the search box
on
the top left of our home page, browse through our categories list,
or look through our new releases and
bestsellers featured
on our home page.
Using the "add to cart" button
on each title page, add each item you would like to order to your
shopping cart.
1. Press the "CHECKOUT" button.
2. On the following screen, Create a new account
3.
You will be asked to select the appropriate options and enter any
other remaining information as you
continue through the checkout
process.
4. When you reach the summary page, stop and review
your order and make any necessary changes.
5. Finally, submit
your order and then look for an e-mail confirmation.

What type of merchandise can
I purchase from Smart Kid Books?
We currently offer workbooks,
supplemental practice books, standardized test preparation books,
and thinking games for children ranging from preschool through
the eighth grade. We are always researching
new products
and expanding our selections every day, so make sure you check out
our bookstore online frequently.
I'm not sure which books are
at the right levels for my kids. Who can I speak with?
We have staff members who are educationally trained
and can provide assistance in choosing workbooks
that are
suitable for your children and their specific needs.

What are my shipping options?
A: Smart Kid Books charges a shipping
fee for each order based on the standard USPS weight guidelines.
Orders within 13 ounces will be mailed through USPS First Class
mail. All orders exceeding 13 ounces will be
mailed through
USPS Priority mail. We also include delivery confirmation for free!
Standard orders generally take
one to two days to be processed
through the warehouse. Total order transit time will include the
handling time
plus shipping days. Please see the chart below
for more details.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship through UPS, so international shipping
rates will automatically be calculated before you make
your
final purchase.
How do I contact customer service?

but also save you time from waiting on the phone.
We will

Do you offer services such as
gift-wrapping or gift receipts?
We do not offer these services at the present time.
What do I do if I receive defective merchandise?
Every order leaving our warehouse is checked for quality, but if you believe
your purchase was defective,
please contact our customer
service department at customerservice@smartkidbooks.com
for further instructions.
It generally takes 1-2 business
days from when you place the order until your books are shipped
from our warehouse.
If your books are temporarily out of
stock, your books will be on backorder until inventory is received.
A confirmation will be sent to you via email upon completing
your order and when your items ship.
If your backorder exceeds
90 days, the order will be automatically cancelled and an email
notification will be sent to you.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged for each item as it ships. If everything
you purchase is in stock,
they will be shipped together and
charged once. However, if you choose to order items that are backordered,
we will first send and charge you for the in-stock items.
Backordered items will be charged only after they are shipped
to you.
What are my payment options?
Smart Kid Books accepts credit card payments (American Express, Visa, Discover,
Mastercard),
check, or money order payments. Personal checks
or money orders can be used as payment for e-mail orders only.

Kid Books will not be responsible for any checks or money orders
lost in the mail.
I opened the main Smart Kid
Books webpage, but there are weird symbols and
characters
on the page. What can I do to get rid of them?
Smart Kid Books is available in both the English and Korean languages.
Your computer may not be configured to the Korean font, causing
unrecognizable characters to appear on the page.
Just simply
"right-click" your mouse on the webpage and click "encode."
You will be given a list of different language options. Proceed
by clicking on "Korean," and
the webpage will automatically
refresh and translate the Korean font accordingly.
I clicked the "check -out"
button, but my final confirmation page did not show up.
What
should I do?
In any case you make a purchase and are not directed
to the confirmation page,
do not continue to click on the
purchase button, as this may lead to multiple charges.
Simply
try refreshing the page or hitting the "back" button and
proceed to making the purchase.
Another option is to wait
for a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation
e-mail within
an hour of your purchase, it means that your
order did not go through.
Simply log back into your account
and make the purchase.
